Unique pictures created for your walls by shell artist Emily, made from Cornish shells, sea glass and sea pottery.

Commissions are available using your treasures collected from a special holiday or honeymoon.

Living in Berkshire but spending a large part of the year in St Ives, Cornwall, Emily loves spending time beachcombing the local beaches and finds creating art from them hugely relaxing.

You can find Simply Seashells at Makers Markets in Newbury and the Berkshire area, or can contact Emily direct to buy or commission some artwork. It is worth following her on Instagram for up to date artworks, sales and information. @simplyseashells

Emily also runs Simply Seashells Workshops at Treetops in Newbury throughout the year, where you can come and make your own framed picture.

Artwork

Pictures are made in a variety of sizes and patterns, with or without sea glass or pottery. Pictures can be made from just one type of shell or from using a mixture of beach finds along with some pressed seaweed.

Have a look on the Gallery Page to see the one you would like, if it is no longer for sale then Emily can make another one very similar for you.

Follow @simplyseashells on instagram to see new artwork as it is produced.

Commissions

You might have your own sea treasure from a holiday or perhaps honeymoon that are sitting in a box or jar and would love them to be made into a piece of artwork, they really do make a fantastic and interesting gift.

I will ask you a variety of questions to help me create the perfect piece. We can focus on colour or type of shell, think of the room/wall it’s being made for, think of the memory you would like to recreate. Or you can just let my imagination run wild!

Workshops

Join Emily for a Simply Seashells Workshops, run from the beautiful and peaceful Treetops in Berkshire. A variety of creative and wellbeing workshops are run from here.

The workshop runs for two hours and you will make a box framed picture to take home with you along with a couple of note cards. All of your materials will be supplied including the shells. But if you have your own, you are very welcome to bring them with you. Cost is £30.

Markets

Throughout the year you can find Emily at various markets in and around Newbury, in particular the popular Renartgades Modern Makers Fair, which is a fair full of contemporary creators and sellers in the heart of West Berkshire.
